C-ION is an innovative advanced oxidation technology based on non-thermal plasma (ionized air). It can be used for oxidation processes in drinking water and wastewater treatment applications.


C-ION technology is based on dielectric discharge to form negatively charged oxygen radicals, which go on to form small, highly reactive ions that are stabilized by cluster formation. These radicals oxidize inorganic and organic substances such as bulking sludge, organic wastewater substances, arsenic, and manganese, making water treatment more effective.

Bulking Sludge Suppression

Arsenic Removal

Arsenic can be found naturally in groundwater or by contamination as a result of mining or chemical processes. Arsenic in drinking water is a serious health risk and can cause serious chronic diseases.

For their removal we offer the most innovative water treatment solution. A combination of C-ION, iron coagulation and our C-MEM™ ultrafiltration membrane technology. This combination of processes can remove arsenic from well water and turn it into drinking water quality.


Manganese Removal

Manganese and iron are contained in many groundwater deposits that can cause serious problems in water pipes. The consequences would be a loss of pressure in the pipe network and the formation of biofilms. In addition to worsening the taste of the water and causing discoloration of the teeth.
